Accommodation & Meals And Water

We only provide the best of hotels according to your preferences at any destination of your choice. It is recommended that you should have your meals in a restaurant or in your hotel as you may find the local food sold street vendors too challenging to you stomach. Only drink water from the bottled water and avoid ice in your drink. At Wide View Travels & Tours will provide you with 2 complimentary bottles of water for each day of your tour with us.

Airport Tax

There is a Airport Departure Tax of US10 for every passenger.

Cancellation Fees & Refunds

Once you commence your travel with us, unfortunately we will not be able to provide you with any refund. However we are fully aware of possible cancellations due to some unforeseen circumstances and we will be most happy to discuss with you further concerning your cancellation when you book with us.

Climate & Weather

In Myanmar we only have three seasons – Winter, Summer and Rainy. Each season lasts for about four months. The coldest months are in January and February where you may need warm clothes in some places. March to May are the hottest month while the rainy season are from June to September.

Complimentary Policy

Wide View Travels & Tours will provide the 16th member of your group a complimentary trip and tour.

Currency &Traveler Cheques

US Dollars and Thai Bahts are widely accepted throughout Myanmar for conversion to the local currency, Kyats. However, most places will only accept clean and new currency notes. Kindly note that Travellers’ Cheques and Credit Cards are not accepted.

Insurance & Health

It is most advisable for travellers to have sufficient travel insurance cover before they come to Myanmar. Please bring along you own medication if you need them although some medicines are readily available in Myanmar. If you have any emergency, Wide View Travels & Tours will always be there to assist you.

Mobile Phones

Overseas Mobile Phones are not workable in Myanmar. You may like to purchase prepaid card service in Myanmar to make overseas call.

Domestic Airlines & Flight

Yangon Airway, Air Mandalay and Air Bagan operate domestic flights in Myanmar. Wide View Travels and Tours have special arrangements with Yangon Airway for all your domestic travelling needs. We can also organize all you international flights.
