Days: 5 days- 4 nights

Day 1  Yangon Arrival

Upon your arrival at Yangon Airport, our guide will meet you with Welcoming Signage and then escort you to your hotel.  In the evening, enjoy the sunset to the Great Shwedagone Pagoda built the most prominent monument in Yangon which dominates the sky with golden flash, giant spires and holy relics.

Day 2 - Yangon-Putao

Upon arrival at Putao airport you will be met by Putao representative and transferred to your guest house. Putao lies in a flat valley, jumping-off point for trekkers who want to explore the region’s deep forests, wildlife sanctuaries and snow-capped mountains etc. After a brief fresh up take a walk around Putao for the orientation.

Day 3 Machanbaw and Namkham excursion along upper Malikha River

Early in the morning walk to Putao market (approx 10 minute), visit attractive market often busy with local ethnic tribes. Return to hotel, breakfast and depart by jeep through the vast Putao plain on pebbled road to Naungkhine (20 km, approx one hour), we get off the jeep, cross suspension bridge span across Malikha river to Machanbaw, a small administrative town ex-Putao with beautifully set up colonial style town. Here we walk up to the so-called stone dragon park which should take about 30 minutes to visit a park where there is a so-called "stone dragon" the snake-like rock formation. Later we board on a local fishermen boat for our up river journey to along Malikha river (approx 40 minutes) to Namkham, a large Rawan village, situates at the bottom of  Namhti  mountain range which in rich with biodiversity of flora and fauna. Name after Hkamti Shan name meaning “Golden River” has became the centre of cultivation place for the fruits that Father Robert Moss has introduced thus to day famous for its sweet fruits production. We have Follow by a lunch stop we explore the village, social and cultural interaction with its friendly people and continue travel by boat up river to (about 20 minutes) to the site of famous Kanugmulon Pagoda, said to be one of the 84000 pagodas built by Thiri Dhamma Thawka, the great king. We cross the river to Htawadum where we meet our jeep and transfer back to Putao (14 km, approx one hour).

Day 4 Putao-Yangon

Air Transfer PBU-RGN/ 15:40-19:45 (flight only on Tue & Fri)

Breakfast and perhaps a last minute shopping at Putao market and further visit in and around Putao with suggestion by your guide. Then transfer to airport for your onward departure flight to conclude this unique experience.

Day 5 Yangon departure

Enjoy your free time until flight out of Myanmar. Today we will say goodbye to you at the airport.
